Lots of nice beaches

    Cable car Benalmadena

    Castle Fuengirola

    Gibraltar

    Malaga Shopping

Get the ferry from Malaga to Benalmadena

Walk from Benalmadena to Torremolinos along the front, then walk up the steps and get the train back

Take a coach tour to Ronda - beautiful

Catch a train from Malaga to Sevilla and spend the day there - the journey itself is spectacular through the mountains.

I love the Costa Del Sol I've been about 8 times, you've just got to get out of the tacky bits - to be honest there aren't nearly as many tacky places now as what there used to be.

You could visit Granada or Seville or Cordoba. Malaga city is quite interesting. Ronda is a good day out too. Depending on where you're based, it could be good to visit Ronda via the scenic railway. On the eastern side of the costa (where I am) it's much quieter. Nerja is the main tourist town, but it's nothing like Torremolinos or Fuengirola. The caves at Nerja are well worth visiting too. If you hire a car and head inland, the lakes at El Chorro and La Vinuela are good. You can have lunch on the balcony of the Camping Bar (everyone knows it) and look across Lake Vinuela to The mountain La Maroma. It's a fantastic sight.

Ronda is a good day out,if you want to go to the Alhambra in Granada book a time on the website before you go its worth visiting.Malaga castle is worth the climb up(or take the bus) for the view of Malaga and the football stadium.Marbella Orange Square and old town for a meal or drive up to Benahavis for a meal........personally I'd give Fuengarola a miss, particularly at night

stayed in fuengirola last year and personally it there aint much to it, unless you like drinking and geting pestered by immingrants selling crap (knock of dvd's etc)

do you konw where you are staying?

I'd recommend a visit to Gibraltar, as its a gud day out

    Grenada, Alhambra Palace..smallish city however

Cordoba, cathedral inside a mosque, a more interesting city in my opinion

Seville, second largest church in Christendom, Royal Palace another example of Moorish architecture. Away from the tourist areas some good shopping if you're into that type of thing.

    I found Ronda uninteresting.

If you're going Easter week then you will witness a religious/cultural festival the like of which you've never seen. The Feria starts after Easter.

Somehow I don't think you're into any of all this
