After watching last night's match I was thinking whether we could revert to this formation as many other teams are starting to do now ? I think we have the versatility in defence and midfield to play this system just wondering what you guys think ?

    Davies / Townsend

    McCarthy / Pearson ---- MacDonald / Jackson ---- Lindsay / Pinnock

    Isgrove ---- Williams / Sessi / Mallan ---- McGeehan / Moncur / Mowatt ---- Yiadom / Fryers

    Thiam / Potts / Barnes ---- Bradshaw / Ugbo / Payne ---- Hammill / Hedges

Appreciate there's more incomings and potential outgoings but I feel this could help us be more defensively strong and organisation, gives us bodies in midfield and provide a fluidity up front.

Would struggle at the minute with that formation. As they settle in a solid 4-4-2 is my preference

Tough one. Fully fit would go Davies, new left back, Lindsay, McDonald, Mcarthy, Hammill, Williams, new centre mid, Isgrove, Bradshaw and Thiam/Ugbo

Would be nice to see Thiam, Bradshaw, and Hedges up front, all in a more central and definitive attacking way. Less pressure to get back and defend because of the wing backs, pace to break on the inside and score some Hedges-esq peaches, or lay off to Bradshaw.

Do we have the confidence to do it though? i dont think so

Mick McCarthy seemed to suggest pre-Ipswich that that's exactly what he's on.

WOW! I take it you're not a fan of any of the many midfielders we have (barring Williams)?

Thought Moncur would be the main man. Disappointed so far. Need some experience in there. Like Potts but needs time. Mowatt not in favour. Anyone else?????

Mallan and McGheehan yet to play for us.

There have been grumblings about Moncur so far, but one thing I do admire is he's always hungry for the ball, doesn't hide. I like that.
