Dont think so. Wasn't a dig at anyone in particular like if he complained about the standard of referee.
I don't think he's said anything wrong but he's criticised someone. I'm not sure who though but its either the Football League or FA.
I just wish we were a bigger club then that Parachute payment debate may get more exposure, no-one will care what Hill says as he is only at little old Barnsley.
After listening to his post match comments he does have a sly dig at the ref/referees in general. When asked about etuhu not getting sent off for his challenge on stones, but hassell been sent off for a similar challenge against bristol, he says something like "where are we? where are we? were little old Barnsley." I read that as hes saying little old barnsley aren't going to get decisions at places like Ewood park.
Thats how you read it but nowhere does he actually accuse a ref of bias against us - you are chosing to put that interpretation on Hills comments but it would need to be much clearer before he could be accused of bringing the game into disrepute. as for parachute payments he is perfectly entitled to question whether they are fair - in just the same way some managers question other things - like the need for goal line technology for example - debating improvements to the game has never been a problem - personal critisism of individuals has
Farnham i don't disagree with what you said. Do you not read into the comment the same as i did though? If he was intentionally having a dig at the ref I'd be behind him. The tackle was a shocker and if that was a Blackburn player on the receiving end of one from our player last night, i'd bet our lad would be off.
