When we returned from the first lockdown we were 8 points adrift…first game back..QPR where we narrowly won 1-0 and reduced deficit to 5 points…

really hope we can build on today and have a good go at this..

Repeating myself but it's Reading we have to focus on. A comment on Derby. If we hadn't obsessed over them and got on with it...where would we be?

    Never gloat.

I don't think the players or coaching team obsessed over Derby at any stage of the season! Interesting to see that our relegation rivals made silly mistakes like we usually do. Got to hold our nerve, but Reading scored 2 goals, that seems like pie in the sky at the moment as does winning away!

Who's going into admin thinking they're safe and hate us forever?

    It’s the hope etc.
If we can start to win a few mire games I can believe we might not finish bottom as Reading and Peterborough seem just as bad as us. I don’t see us getting more points than Derby and the rest are too far away. It needs a side like Cardiff or Hull to go into free fall and finish with 40 points or less for them to get dragged in. A 12 point gap to 3rd bottom takes a run like the one we have been on to bring them into the fight

I have my sights set on 24 points. After that, we'll see.

    Wow, so high :)

After yesterday, I think we can get to 30.

    Any advance on 30?

I thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday. Best performance of the season, so far. I really hope we can build on it and give ourselves a fighting chance. But I don't want to get my hopes up. Not for another couple of games. :)

Totally agree with this. If we could get 3-4 points off the next two away games then I might start to allow myself a glimmer of hope.

Strange that our best away performance and arguably best home performance have been against the same team. Can we play them every week:D

It won’t strike twice as we’ve now got a game away that we haven’t won in about 637 years.

Then again, QPR had scored in every away game for a year and was unbeaten in 2022 up until yesterday.

Will be very had although we still have to play reading at home so potentially 2 points a drift if we win that and only 2 goals in it on gd. Got to show abit of fight like we did yesterday and we have a slim chance

If we still in the fight two or three games from finale then it’s possible but a long way and a lot of games to go before we get to that scenario .
One game at a time .

Reading will no doubt sack their manager and appoint Warnock, or somebody else to give them a bounce. Derby are a better side than us as well.

Can't see anything other than a battle between Reading and Derby to avoid joining us and Peterborough.

Its a stunningly poor championship this season. To put it into context... we've only won 3 games all season, and in so doing had 2 lengthy spells without a win, and a couple of runs with 6 and 7 straight defeats respectively.

Yet we're only 5 points and a bit of goal difference from safety.

We could stay up. Though frankly, the absolute shambles that was the summer... I'd suggest we probably deserve relegation just for that.
