Could ogrady having a spell on the touch line be a blessing in disguise?

It might sound strange but it might help flicker to change tact and look to get the ball into the centre forwards in the box rather than lump it down the left wing.

Neither pedersen or tudgay are big enough to hold the ball up so hopefully we will get it into the 6 yard box and get a few goals.

    2 nil tomorrow?

Tudgay's got a leap on him. Like for like in terms of tactics.

Tudgay will have chalk on his boots all aft.

    I actually thought this too.

Now O'Grady's out I don't think the whole 'lump it up forward' will work. Not that is was working anyway.

Hopefully it will make us press, play some nice football and get more balls in the box.

I hope you're correct, I just fear not.

We need to be getting balls into the box for tudgay to attack, he is pretty useful in the air.

I don't think so. O'Grady is our top scorer and probably our best player.

Pedersen has played up top on his own all his career, he's more than capable of holding it up. Give me O'Grady over an unfit Tudgay any day.

O'Grady was very poor for the 4 or 5 games before he got injured, if he's our best player no wonder we are in trouble

COG has been pretty poor for a while to be honest. I love him to bits as a player but I've got to be fair.

I'm with Mr Northern on this, though. Tudgay will be out wide being fed by TK. Could be wrong, hope I am.

But I'd rather COG was fit, and we had Tudgay as a substitute.

I'm not attacking ogrady I actually think he's a great player when used properly. I just think a forced change in personel might force flickers hand a bit into playing a more direct way through the middle with two goalscorers in the box.

I hope you're right matey. But it's our left back that worries me when he's got Chris Burke to deal with.

Yeah he always looks good when I've seen him play. Jim O'Brien might get a start to keep him in check.

I'm very interested in seeing his lineup tomorrow.

Does Fox come back in? If it's four in midfield, you'd expect him to go with Paddy, Perkins and Fox for sure. Who gets the other flank? Jim or Mellis?

Do Dawson/Etuhu/Digby get a look in? Maybe he'll play Mellis centrally?

    Interesting.

    Last weekend

I was dreading this game against Birmingham. Now I'm really looking forward to it. It's great that Arabian Ian is coming down again for the match and I'm hoping that we finally see an upturn in our fortunes (even though O'Grady won't be playing).
    I think it's about time I grew up!:D

    Re: Last weekend

Personally I'd go with O'Brien then try cywka at the end when the game gets stretched.
