Could someone give me a full run down of what was said at meeting tonight

Was it to reassure fans or give out loads of info on coming season etc & future plans. Unfortunately was unable to go but would av liked to but ar lass was working n looking after kids.

To be fair.....

I was going to travel the 120 miles to go, but I didn't as I wasn't 100% sure that it would actually go ahead, given past instances of this.
And I'm decorating this week anyway.
But...........

all this crap about "Cryne told us to keep it quiet" is a bit childish is it not? It'll all be reported in the Chron on Friday, the club just want to keep it as "news" for them. Wouldn't suprise me if its not in the Star or YP tomorrow.

This them and us attitude with your own fans is a bit of a worry, we badly need a PR bod, who knows what the term means.

the owner and the manager have just stood in an open forum and gave candid responses to EVERY question asked without dodging any issues.

It doesn't happen at many other championship clubs, if any.

And you talk about PR.

Some of the feckers that can be bothered to moan couldn't be bothered to come a few miles / hundred yards to be present at an event where their questions might be answered.

sorry I attempted a balanced post.
I actually support Davey and Cryne, but if the meeting was open why is what was said not allowed to be posted on a fans forum for those who couldn't get there to hear what was said.
Like I said, whats to hide, it'll be public knowledge tomorrow anyway. It just gives a poor impression of their opinion of their fans as a whole, we are not all "the whingers on the bbs" that they seem to want to blacklist.
Smacks of paranoia and unprofessionalism.
Sorry, but again, like I said, I'm pro SD and PC, I just don't kiss the ground they walk on, there is certainly room for improvement in the PR dept at BFC.
