    The highs and lows of football. It's bad enough suffering the game itself but we'll be suffering the Scunny and Gillingham games too with all the updates coming in on the transistors in the ground.

    My ***** phone doesn't help. Everyone around me are getting half time scores, checking their bets or posting on the BBS while mine can't muster a decent attempt to do anything. Even the scoreboard is more informative than my worthless piece of crap.

    it's alright for you lot....

    ...I've got the Barnsley match, plus Scunny and Gillingham, AND watching my daughter playing in the final of the Women's League cup at Rotherham.

    And they wonder why I'm balding and what little hair I have left is grey!

    Here's hoping for the right result from all the games.

    If you remember the Huddersfield game, the mobile network was flooded and no-one could get any info off their smartphones.

    Transistor radios > smartphones when that happens.

    Dont think I could take another one of those - at Huddersfield watching us - no hope of updates on my phone relying on updates from people with a good old fashioned wireless to tell us what was happening - knowing Jedinak had scored but not whether the game had finished - far rather we go into the last few minutes 3-0 up
