What does Barnsley get out of this...........only thing I can think of is a ground share with Leeds Leeds have a problem financing the Elland Road ground. A ground share would be good for them and release money for players etc. I also think if Barnsley and Leeds were to share a common ground then eventually both clubs would amalgamate to make a super club. and hence the Yorkshire Tykes are born I have always advocated that Barnsley use the words ‘Yorkshire Tykes’ in everything they do because this allows people living in other towns in Yorkshire the chance to have an allegiance to a club that has a name that they can associate with i.e. people living in Wakefield are more likely to support something ‘Yorkshire’ than something ‘Barnsley’.
It stems from this...................... What is Barnsley getting out of this deal ??? AND Leeds United being bled dry by renting Elland Road
Out of what deal? Didn't we just show our support for a fellow member of the football league, who are in financial crisis? Is that not deemed appropriate or something?
RE: making a supper club ??................changed it cocker Beleive it or not................part of my job is writing reports On here I just throw stuff onto the screen..........its only later when I read them do I notice the spelling mistakes (shithappens)
April Fools Day today? Super Club? Ground Share? Yorkshire Tykes? I reckon I'll be able to publish that phrasebook with stupid quotes by the end of today if this carries on. What a load of crap you are spouting!
Chuffing Hell !!!.................its only a thought I'm only quessing here.................. I'm trying to make sense of why Barnsley FC should get involved with Leeds Only thing I can think of is...............ground share at the WELL.........due to the fact that Leeds are having problems financing Elland Road lease If anybody else has any ideas .......well by all means throw them at the screen........lets see if anybody elses theories are more credible
The idea Barry Taylor trying to do his old mate a favour, yet he's been found out by Sheps. We won't back them now, Sheps has said as much.
