Or do you think we will be alright? Hit a bit of a sticky patch given recent results and Leicester away is a usual home banker (not being negative just stating the facts). Very leaky in defence alately which is becoming a bit of a worry and surely Keef as to be looking at getting either a left back or centre half or both in before the end of January and maybe another wide man as cover for Jim perhaps. I hope we have enough points on the board to see us through and if i am totally honest if Keef does keep us up considering what he has had to work with i think it will have been quite an achievement considering other championship clubs budgets and playing staff.
I just can't see it this season. 6 wins, **** it! We do need to strengthen badly though. New LB/CB a priority.
Unless we start tightening up then yes. The amount of goals getting let in especially at home is frightening. Need at least twenty points to be sure of staying up and finish with a decent league position.
We certainly could We could also get dragged into a play off battle, too. However, I don't think either will happen this season. It's my opinion that we'll finish about 14th, with around 58/60 points. But I know bugger all.
Re: We certainly could I don't think we will do as well as that, might get to 52 mark. Got to stop giving silly goals away.
As I said, mate I know bugger all. However, I believe 25 points from 21 games is achievable for this group of players. Especially if Keith Hill is able to bring in the players he wants this month.
We will all the remaining fixtures and take our rightful place back in the Prem. We are too massive for anything less. That would be my answer as a Wendy fan
We need six wins from 20 games which is 30% assuming we lose all the rest. If we don't get that we are still not certain to go down.
9 points about the relegation places, yes we could get dragged into a relegation battle, only takes 3 or 4 straight defeats and we'd be looking over our shoulders, and when you look at how we've done after Christmas in the last few seasons, if we do that again then we will get dragged in. We need to strengthen at that back, I would see that as THE priority in the transfer window. Do I think it WILL happen? No.
As stated abouve yes of course we could get dragged in if the wheels fall right off - it has happened to sides before and even to us on occasion. Do I think it will happen - no 5 wins and a few draws out of our remaining games is all we need so I will be surprised if we have much to play for for the last 3 or 4 games other than position As also stated another good run stating on Saturday and we could find ourselves dragged into the playoff positions - but I dont see that happening either
No cup distractions unlike other clubs Millwall have cup replay against Dagenham before playing us beating them would be a massive result.
