    Hmm..

I don't think we could sign a replacement for him.

    Howard---McPhail---Burns/Kell---Devaney

That doesn't look too bad, but would much rather keep him than sell for 85k.

    Thats my thoughts.....

I would rather keep him but it wouldn't be catastrophic ( Sunday night spelling ). He's scored goals this year but in all honesty how we play anyone with a bit of pace will score goals where he is playing. He doesn't terrorise full backs like Devaney has recently but I will still say we want you to stay Chris.

At the end of the day he is our top goalscorer and it will be such a negative decision if we sold our top goalscorer. We wont sell him.

I'm sure that the club would fine good use for the £85k, but if they have any ambition at all and want to get us promoted, then we really should keep Shuker.
Why would he want to go to Bristol City anyway, we'll get promoted and Bristol City will play in League Two next season. (H)

Why would he go to Bristol? He sign for Hartlepool because he wanted to be close to his family in Manchester.

He's just signed a new contract when he could have gone for nothing in the summer, and negotiated himself a better deal.

    I would dearly hope

That Chris Shuker will stay at the club . Personally , I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who would be an adequate replacement , whilst falling in our price range . However , Andy Ritchie has proved he has an eye for a bargain and I feel he is more than capable of finding the right sort of player to bring in .
