after a night on the drink at the weekend. by all accounts we were pretty good, in a game that was decent. were the davies misses as bad as they have been described to me? absolutely no doubt this group of players are giving their all, and playing for the management team. oh and we're not negative in the goals column!!!
They should have been put away ryhill but he was running from centre to the right and striking across the goal and dragged them wide both times. If one of the were running from the left to the centre i think he would have put it away as he wouldn't have had to try and hit them hard and he would have been able to side foot it in or curl it in the back post. 90% of the lads game was very good. He's so strong.
davies himself has said he's at his best when cutting in from the left sounds a bit worrying if he's not finishing in those situations.
Re: davies himself has said he's at his best when cutting in from the left His first shot dropped at my feet in the Ponty, his touches on both occasions took him out wide to a more difficult angle made it harder for himself. Didn't look match fit and his touch was sometimes lacking, he'll be reyt in 4/5 games.
