And then is brought on to the field ahead of Mostto. Which begs the question, how **** are Mostto and Christensen?

Looking forward to the goals flying in with the two-prong striking partnership of Coulson and Odejayi.

Not sure how true it is

But I heard that Christensen had been allowed to go back to Denmark for the Christmas period.

    Coulson deserves a chance though.

I know what you saying - we've spent big money on these players. Coulson though has been around the 1st team sqaud for 2 years now and deserves a crack as much as anyone else. He's looked decent when given a chance.

You can't be a young promising reserve striker all your life.

Course you can Odejayi is still raw talent at 25!

So Coulson is still a nipper!

If Coulson was any good he would have made the break through in 2 years.

Face it not good enough.we should have him off the wage bill rather quickly.

How much do you reckon this lad is on? He was plucked from Semi Pro Scarborough. It will be buttons.

If he wasnt progressing Davey would have got rid. Likewise he wouldnt put him on the bench and he'd be out on loan.

If your judging the young players on wages vs playing time - you need to include the entire academy.

A lot less if we get rid now when he is breaking into the first team squad!

    Agree.

We produced more quality players in the past through our youth system without the academy. Would rather spend £1m each year on players than on the academy when so few are coming through.

    Rory Fallon

Not given a chance and at this moment I would rather give Coulson the time rather than find out in a couple of years that some other team has a half decent striker on their hands.

    Fallon or Odejayi ?

    RE: Agree.

I think the argument of the acedemy has been flogged to death. Its obvious it was poorly run previously - and having seen some of the players in the youth teams it should come good.

Dont forget as someone else pointed out - our last two managers have come through the acedemy. 1 has led us to promotion and the other kepy us up and is doing a grand job on building BFC to a decent championship.

Oh - and just read the report from Poet - Coulson didnt do badly apparantly!

I thought Coulson did well when he came on and his performance goes somewhere to explaining why he is in front of Christensen

To be fair Christensen needs to be given a chance unless Davey signed the new Tommy Wright

Coulson is only a kid that has been developing under Davey's guidance. He was never bought to jump straight into the first team but as a kid that has the potential to develop into a dcent player.

On today's evidence he is improving and could become a decent player for us.

He made a big impact in the game today and played a part in us getting a draw. Well done Michael.
