I'm glad the slow build up is finally dying a death. It works when you've got Barcelona class players, but not a team built round David Perkins. Liverpool and City will obviously monopolise it though, and make it stale. I just hope we don't appoint Malcolm Dullard from deepest Lancashire again, who tries making us into Pepball FC with about 7 ex-Morecambe players

To be fair, it was working and was anything but dull until Malcom lost a handful of key players. But I do get your point. And I do prefer - personally - the more direct approach in terms of tactics. I think we saw a good blend on Saturday, so I hope that's the norm under Conor.
