It happened in the test yesterday morning ( or was it the day before ? ).
It gave us 6 balls by Woakes with 6 slips !!
    Didn’t work though.

Yeah common sense doesn’t seem to prevail in first class cricket.
Bumble used to be heavily critical of “ non sensible “ cricket and umpires seemingly assisting slow play

Coad is now the top wicket taker for Div 2 this season

Yeah it looked pretty bleak at Leicester races

Could be on and off tomorrow according to the forecast. The weather ruined the start of the season and it could well do the same to the end

Should have played here in sunny and dry Huddersfield instead, where they would have got a full day in :D

Hopefully enough playing time to get 8 wickets. Still another day after that though.

Yes a win is a big likelihood but we’ve been fooled before. The bowlers did a fantastic job in the first innings but these things rarely happen twice in a match. A couple of Leicester players could eke out most of the day tomorrow and force it into a 4th day where the nerves will be on edge. Never straight forward with this team is it!

If only there was a time year to squeeze some cricket in; maybe July / August.
The reason the weather is causing havoc is the fact we have to cater for the ******* Hundred.

Play started on time at Leicester and Fisher has taken his third wicket already. Good start and be nice to wrap up an innings victory today.

Ps. So much for weather forecasts!

7 down and 92 lead so surely we can finish them off today.
Bess hasn’t bowled at all in either innings so presumably he’s injured ?
    Anyone know ?

George Hill blows them away taking the last six wickets. Brilliant win and 22 points banked

Yes, fantastic win. Let’s hope Gloucester (or the weather) do us a favour against Middlesex. I think Sussex are certainties to win though.

    Underrated bowler is George Hill.

If next week us and Middlesex win and Sussex lose, then it could be tight with someone missing out on promotion by one or two points.

I'm really surprised at this; was in south Notts this morning, it was chucking it down with rain.
