    Yorkshire play their first game of the season tomorrow at Gloucestershire. Willey and Bairstow at in the IPL. Cadmore is injured. Root is resting after England duty but is expected back to play at Headingley after they start with two away games. That is a strong side and when others get back difficult decisions will have to be made. Rauf is a great bit of business for overseas. Hill and Wharton to miss out?

    An Indian guy from the IPL is trying to introduce cricket to the USA. They are currently building stadiums around the country. The closet one to me, which is currently being built, is in San Jose.

    I believe they are starting with T20, which I believe will appeal to Americans, as it has a lot in common with baseball. It lasts about three hours and the excitement is in hitting Fours and Sixes, similar to Home Runs.

    Pakistan fast bowler but only really plays white ball cricket so a bit of a punt for the County Championship particularly given Yorkshire's very, very, brittle batting.

    Can be very fast but also all over the place and with one or two notable exceptions every game I've watched with him in the Big Bash or the PSL over the winter he's gone for plenty.

    Still, can't be any worse than Duanne Olivier was as the County Championship overseas last year.

    I love to watch genuine pace, especially if I’m there at Headingley. Lockie Ferguson had it last year in the T20 matches that I saw.

    Rauf appears to be a proper fast bowler who would be ideal with Patterson at the other end with his relentless accuracy

    Commentators can't get enough of Brook, on 99 had to play well last over . But we've lost Bess who was looking good for 36.
