In the unlikely event I get this past him indoors, what's the club - organised bus travel like with kids in tow? Would really like to go to Coventry to see some old friends, and could take my eldest, (7) but need some pre match time to meet the Cov folk. Am I better off on my own? Am I better off on the train? (chinny)

Official coach time arriving does vary. Usually sometime between 1:30 and 2pm. You could catch a pub coach, which usually set off about 2-3 hours earlier, so you would be in Coventry for midday. Although rowdy men on a coach, getting drunk isn't really a place for young children. Train is an option, but is probably expensive at such short notice. There could be a carpark at the Rioch (with it being a new ground you would think so) and so I guess driving could happen.

Looked at train a couple of days ago £21 which was ok ... then I saw kids offer with STand thought I'd do the bus. I drive all over Yorkshire with my job, so I'm happy to leave car at home given hals a chance. I'll probably end up not making a decision & missing it.

Fiona, are you a supporters trust member?

Junior Away Ticket offers are now available for the forthcoming games against Coventry City on the 2nd February. Again, we have 50 tickets available free for the games. The tickets are for the Oakwell Juniors + guardian/parent and are available on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in obtaining tickets for this games please contact Alan Bloore as soon as possible to reserve your places Please note: All recepiants of the tickets must be fully paid up members of the Supporters Trust. In addition, where possible we would encourage everyone who takes up the offer to travel on the Trust Supporters Coach that we will be running to this game.

Yes ... that's what's got me thinking... I'd like to take my eldest, but the bus from the club could prohibit us from meeting the folks I want to see ... plus from Sheffield I could well be better off on the train. All theoretical at this stage anyway. We could be away that weekend. Will have to get it sorted though.. good opportunity & all that.
