Good luck to them. Coventry are only tenants. I really like Mark Robins, one of our better managers & has proved himself. Surprised he hasn't taken a bigger job TBH. With Wasps going under they would be back at Northampton or worse finding a stadium. Ashley is a really lovely individual, but they will only be tenants whoever owns it TBH. I can't see anyone else being a more lovely individual TBH. They made a bad decision years ago moving to that ground & there is a big lesson to be learned there. As much as there is a stand off regarding fixing our ground, which does badly need fixing, WE STILL HAVE OUR GROUND. Was part of Patrick's legacy.
They've had a really rough time. Ground issues are particularly absurd. I mean, it's a modern stadium, in Coventry, how can Coventry City end up not playing in it (I know they haven't before for ages). Madness.
No we don't. That's half our trouble and why the club can't and won't kick on. That deal Cryne did with the Council is biggest reason we won't make the Premier League anytime soon. Best way he could have safeguarded the club was selling it sooner.
