Would you support barnsley if we played in derby? AND still had oakwell to play our league games at! Not a chance for me. They do right, very very dodgy chairman and they are trying their best to prevent their "home" ground bring 30 miles from home!

Saw it on twitter yesterday. Reminds me of the 'marlon Jason' chance before the man city game.

    Brilliant.

Their protest is valid, I think they are 100% right with what they're doing. Fans should stand up for themselves a bit more.

If their ground isn't in their city it can't be called their club.

I agree, surely that is the only thing that makes your team, well, yours? The players/managers/anyone who works at a football club are almost never from your town/city, the only thing that gives it the town/city's name is the location. If it is no longer located there, what on earth makes it your club?

Same thing happens in concerts and clubs up and down the country every week. People enjoying themselves. If you don't want to be a part of it then you can move from the vicinity. Feckin killjoy.

Apart from when you go to a gig or a club you're generally an adult who knows what's likely to happen and has chosen to go there

Kids wanting to get a hot dog at half time having beer thrown over them isn't fun and not encouraging it isn't about being a kill joy its about being respectful and not acting like a selfish bellend

I pretty much expect stuff like that happen at football. All part of the fun. Fair point about kids but who sends their young child off on their own to get an hotdog anyway? Teenagers love it, they'll either be joining in or they will be in a couple of years. Nobody gets hurt.
