Depends where you're staying and what you like to do. It's really hot and humid at the minute and the sea is very warm (almost hot). Tell me where you're staying and what you're looking for and i'll try to give you a bit of info. Have a great time in Sri Lanka, A visit to sigiriya is a must. I was disappointed with the elephant sanctuary as the keepers are just trying to get as much money off you as they can. Little England was good, with the tea plantations and tea factories. Before we went to Sri Lanka, i bought a load of colouring books and pencils, i gave them to the kids in the fishing village, you've never seen such joy on kids faces for something so simple. Try it if you've got room in your case.
