    Hassell to right back, move Shotton into the middle with Moore. Simples.

    Foster was suspended for the game against Sheffield United at Oakwell last season aswell, bit of an omen there.

    Apparently, Shotton is excellent at centre back, according to Stoke fans who we met on holiday and one for the future in that position.

    He seemed really down and a bit bemused as to why he wasn't even on the bench. Didn't seem to know why either so I doubt it's a falling out. I hope he sticks around though, we're still a bit low on defenders so we need everyone we've got

    Robins just read the team/squad out and that was that</p>

    He was stood near the coaches with (I presume) his parents. Needless to say they aren't Robins' biggest fans </p>

    The manager shouldn't have to justify his selection to players who aren't picked. More important things to focus on, like the match and the 11 selected. Words might be exchanged next week in training. But even then there is no obligation on the manager IMO.

    IIRC Robins said there was more than likely a deal to keep Shotton and Dickinson for the season, he even mentioned a possbility of a permanent deal. I would like to keep both. Shotton has been very impressive and Dickinson has been just ok (impressed with his attitude though), but left footed LB's seem hard to come by so we need to hang on to him, he will improve.

    Then we've more chance of loan or permanent deals, certainly fo Dickinson.

    Be surprised if they'd let Shotton go but you never know.

    The fact is

    He's been very poor this season - one okay performance against Manure Reserves doesn't warrant him coming in for Shotton or Dickinson.

    Would probably have had him on bench rather than J Gray but he wouldn't have started.
