    Thanks for posting those MT34. Great to look back on. Brought back happy memories
    of some of my favourites re- Joe Joyce, Clive Baker, Paul Futcher, Ian Banks etc.
    Some of the others were before my time.

    Only seems two minutes since that promotion season of '78/'79. An obvious sign of old age on my part.:D

    Fantastic. 79/80, aged 5, was when Barnsley FC became part of life for me. Went to school with Mike Lester's son for a short period of time. Just looking at some of those pictures fills my mind with memories of the smell of bovril, the click of turnstiles, NCB jackets and standing by the perimeter wall near the corner flag in the Ponty End, mainly because there was an extra step there that meant I could see the pitch clearly.
