That one off Birmingham away performance has gone to his head. 1 goal away at Bolton in his last 12 games and gone completely off the boil. Good striker on his day, but his day hasn't been seen enough recently.
tell me what he's done since Birmingham away game ? apart from 1 of the worst penalty kicks seen at Oakwell
That us getting screwed on another "saleable asset" then. Just Steeley to go and we'll be left with just Stonsey to get bum raped by bigger boys over.
Offer that money and more to keep Steele at the club. A far more reliable and consistent performer than Davies. Half decent strikers are everywhere, a good keeper is a premium.
Plus Steele publicly voices his love for the club. Would be a sad state of affairs to see him leave. I wonder if Hill told the board he didn't want to keep him and that's the reason why we haven't offered him a contract?!
Did'nt he say after the Birmingham game he would be happy too stay, must be the goal bonus arrangement thats changed his mind!!!
I'm not too bothered whether he stays or goes..............recent performance levels and committment suggests he'd be better off somewhere else?
was obvious he would go. he's had one great performance, that's it. can understand it though - why would he sign for a club he thinks will be playing League 1 next season? obvious concern is what we will be left with up front. Tudgay, Davies, Sinclair all leave. What are we left with - Dagnall, Harewood & Etuhu? Jeez.
Si thi, can we now get a striker who actually gets in the box now then, oh and some width and crosses, ta.
Couldnt care less about him, thought he'd improved at the beginning of the season but it was just a flash in the pan. His normal first touch soon returned.
Not in the same league as Vaz Te but if he thinks he is good enough to play for a top championship club / premier league club then he has been smoking crack but good luck to him. Sithi Craig.
