According to the Daily Star he's got Stoke City, Leeds United and Wigan Athletic watching him. Going to be tough to get him signed back up.

He did well enough last season to have had his contracted extended in the summer.... the decision to wait will probably see us get shafted yet again in January transfer window again.

But thinking about it I suppose we only had a certain amount of money for contracts and the club probably thought protecting our interests by getting Digby and Stones signed was the better option. It must be hard running a club on a restricted budget and hard decisions have to be made....

Anyway Davies hasn't said he wants to leave infact the last interview I heard from him he was happy playing football at Barnsley, so he may extend his deal!!

As I’ve mentioned in the past and been ridiculed for.

We need fans in the stands if we want our better players to stay. We don’t want them going away to other clubs and thinking how much more of a buzz would it be to play in front of these fans than at Oakwell.

We need to make Oakwell a place, players don’t want to leave.

vicious circle tho i am afraid..... no investment means no good players = poor crowds.... and so on.

however some folk on here should be happy as they don't want investment.

he's leaving anyway no two ways about it, he said a few weeks ago he's not thinking about new contracts he wants to stick to playing football at the moment, as soon as i heard that i knew he'd been tapped up.

Laughable really. He's had the game of his life on Sky, and now suddenly the world is looking at him. This is Odejayi against Chelsea, all over again.
