Goalie should have headed it. I was directly in the line of it at the game and me and my mates all turned and laughed! What the **** was the goalie doing?? Like Vaz Te the other night.

    Fair play to him

He came to the ponty when all the others had gone, and spoke to the fans.

8 goals, only 6 behind the top scorer in the league despite missing three months of the season. The guy needs a contract extension before next summer so he's not only got 12 months left. If that ends up being the case the vultures will try and swoop on the cheap as per usual.

If only he'd have buried the 1 on 1 in the first half.

Can't complain with his contribution though. No frills, but effective.

No idea how that didn't go in.Where i was sat in East Upper it looked like an optical illusion.

I did say at 2 nil that the next goal would be crucial.Had we gone in 3 up at half time i think it would have been game over.As daft a football cliche is in "2 nil is a dangerous score" yesterday proved how much it was.

I was surprised the keeper didn't save it tbh.

I'm not sure we have yet found a free-kick specialist that can replace the void left by Grant McCann.

If you watch closely, the keeper takes a step to his left just has Davies is about to strike it. That is more than enough (believe me) to leave you struggling to adjust your position and dive effectively towards where you want to go.

I reckon he will be the 20+ goal a season striker we've been missing for years.

Werent some Barnsley fans saying he's just like odejayi 2 months ago? That tells you how some fans are fickle and know **** all!!

    Re: Fair play to him

Actually it should tell you Keith Hill was playing him out of position. Stick him in the middle and he scores goals, stick him on the wing and he will struggle, he looked poor until he was played in his proper position.
