What is the opinion of our fans on Davies. I think that the way he is playing and missing chances he is making us a 10 man team. If he wants out then get the money and let's change the team round. Some players get big egos as to how good they are. Most move for the money, and fall flat on their arse
We need a new striker and a good centre half this window. We also need to fund it with some outgoings.
Wiseman mcDumpty, Collins Edwards but that is up to new manager to sort out. I would like to see new manager with Flicker as No 2 to keep players on board and smooth takeover

Missing no more chances than Harewood has this season or Dagnall or any of the others really

Poor first touch no movement spends more time on the wing and can't head a ball! If he wants to go warm somebody's bench take the money and get somebody in who wants to play for us!

He's had far more game time than Harewood. Can't compare the 2 at all.

But Davies is lazy, no first touch, thinks he can fire a shot through 3 bodies. Can be useful but needs a Harewood to help him.

Why bring Harewood into it. If he had half the games Davies he would have more goals.
Davies can go tomorrow for all I care.

Agree, not been the same player since Birmingham and wasn't a world beater before it. Like Keith he has an over inflated ego and thinks he's better than he really is. Based on recent form we're not going to get much for him.

totally agree. Davies wasnt amazing against brum, i think he was good but their defenders were crap. Lets face it which quality championship teams would he get in the first 11. Harewood is more prolific and if given time would be even if he is getting old. Im tired of these players who dont understand loyalty and think their bigger than the club. Vaz Te for instance, wouldnt it have been great if we didnt need his tiny transfer fee and from him refusing to play for us let him rot in the reserves for a few month.

Everyone outside the club raves about him being a class striker. But he's lazy, arrogant and we could do no better than moving him on and cashing in this month. He's got eight in the league and four of them in one game. Get shut.

He's out of form. That's all.

Best free transfer & striker we've had in years.

He's unplayable IMO on his day. But he's always been a bit hit and miss.

With the right players around him, as we saw last season from October to January, and this season from August to October, he's dangerous and an asset at this level. I think he's missed Mellis tbh, as he then missed Butterfield last season.

I don't think he's awful all of a sudden, or over-rated, but I do think he's been a waste of snap recently.

Would I care if he left in January for 500k or more? Not really. I seriously believe that Daggers and Harewood could be a good partnership. Seriously.

I would take anything for Davies. He doesn't want to be here and if he stays, we'll get the odd goal out of him and lose him for a free in the summer.
A striker or two has got to be a priority. The defence isn't that bad. I don't know why Edwards has been out in the cold when McNulty has been ****, wiseman is a full back and crainie started most games in midfield.
