Crap performance. But at least we got a point. All four of our strikers have a league goal each now. Maybe they'll all have managed 4 by the end of the season. Oh well, bring on Hull.

    Any decent individual performances?

Sounded like we need a change up front - give Odejayi a rest?

    No

McCann cannot start another after that...surely.

Da Silva badly missed which does not bode well.

    Muller did nothing wrong

Foster, Nyatanga and Souza were solid enough. Campbell-Ryce did plenty of running but couldn't get the ball over. That's about it really. Odejayi definitely needs a rest and a bloody good kick up the arse. But have we got anyone else? Where was Christensen today?

    RE: No

Must say i agree about McCann. Was doing my head in, lost the ball too many times and constantly went backwards.

Where's Andy Johnson? I think he should be given another go.

    The unbeaten run continues

& Mossto got off the mark.

I thought we had the best of the pressure in the second half & were denied at least one penalty in the first half.

    McCann

Terrible today - I thought in De Silva's absence, Devaney - Howard - McCann - JCR would work well. Shows what I know.

Devaney unable to get into the game early doors - the explosive impact he's had terrorising tired defences from the bench never looked like making an appearance. He tired late on and perhaps should have been replaced instead of JCR. In the first half JCR played down the left. He and Werling were far too lightweight on the left flank. JCR was much better in front of Foster second half. Won lots of corners and I think (for which read "hope") Ferenczi would have made more of.

As for McCann, I like having 2 free kick specialists on the field. Especially two with different styles - a curler-cum-placer and a power blaster. But on that showing we can't afford to waste a shirt on McCann in the hope a free kick opportunity arises.

When De Silva goes back, Toggers or Johnson have to come back. And of the two I'd have Togwell in the team.

Anyone know where Christensen was and how far Ferenczi is off fitness?

Christensen has a shin injury apparently...

...and will probably miss the next match.

    RE: McCann

I should have liked Mc Cann on the left C Rice on the right and Togwell and Howard in the middle. This would have allowed Howard to get forward and not sit infront of the back four as he did for the first half. Thought their right winger (Elliott?) had the measure of Werling again particularly in the first half.

agreed except I would have given Werling less and Sousa and Nyatanga more. Their keeper did well, but he is ex prem with Palarse and some of the saves were 'hollywood'

Odejayi can do no wrong - he either unfit or cant be assed

And doesnt seem the sharpest tool in the box.

Then again i couldnt believe Mostto sttod in the centre circle near the end, shouting and pointing to Muller to kick it long at KO. The lazy tw@. He should have been up there running himself.

I'm not suggesting he's unfit, more a case of he's moved up divisions and at the moment isn't quite doing it, needs someone to come in and make him earn his place back. Also with a lack of firepower we perhaps need a different pairing up front.

    RE: McCann

Devaney tired because all second half he kept flying down the flank in space waiting for a pass from JCR on the other flankbut he either never saw him or wanted to do it all himself.
