credit card sales on internet-question

    if a company goes bust and hasn't sent goods ordered and paid for by CC can i get a refund from CC company??

    I think so.

    That's why football clubs in administration cannot sell season tickets - lest they go bust and leave the credit card company liable.

    Yes

    This is a condition of the consumer credit act. The goods must have cost more than £100 though.

    Visa or Mastercard?

    If it's Visa then without question yes. If you buy a product with a visa card, drop it and break it on the way home then visa will reimburse you. They cover you for just about everything. MasterCard, it depends, but just contact them and tell them what's happened.

    consumer credit act offers equal liability for all purchases over 100quid

    ie if you can't chase the company then you can chase the credit card company instead.
