Got a call from my bank about suspect activity on my credit card, they picked up on it within a day and mentioned £1000 to NSPCC and £700ish to a record store...both made online. The bank blocked the transactions and put a stop on the card straight away so nothing went from account. So well done, amidst so many negative banking stories. Not sure where the scammers got the details from but I suspect it's from using card at a petrol station.
