After the performance of the first 50 mins we could really have buckled today. But when Moore got sent off he had the bottle to stick with 3 at the back instead of fetching hassell straight on and maybe trying to nock a draw. He didnt - it worked - credit to simon for that.

hopeully he will have taken note than when he did fetch bobby on to tighten tighten up it worked and the back four worked as a unit. ive been one of Moores fans and think he is a good defender that just lacks pace. But as a unit i thought we looked ten times better after his dismissal and Bobbys introduction. You never know but it may be a real turning point in the season where after his suspension he simply cant get back in due to great performances by back 4!!!!

Lets not try and paper over the cracks - the first half me were poor. Alot of work needed and also i doubt Donny will play as poor for 45 minutes as they did today but i hope that was down partly to how we played!!!

Full marks to Campbell Ryce. Pure quality today and definatly playing for his manager. Same has with Macken - Great to see him after being dropped, making his way over to the manager to celebrate his goal.

So - Things looking a little better tonight but there is along way to go and Simon is not out of the water yet. But well done today Simon. Win at Palace (If still in charge!!) and the Davey out chants may be forgotten for a while - Maybe!!!!

    Up the Reds!!!! :)
