Credit to Gordon Shepherd for taking the time to write that reply

Most folk wouldn't have bothered. WhatI find funny is the moaning fishwives on here who give it large, write a shitty letter to Gord, paste it on here to show everyone how great they are, and then when they get a detailed response, written in the language of the original (although slightly more polite), they whinge and moan about the 'rudeness' of the chairman. You were lucky to get any response at all!!</p>

Funny as **** on the one hand, on the other, the fickleness of the average Barnsley fan is becoming increasingly pathetic. Most of the comments since Davey was signed have been outrageous, and inmany cases offensive. It's one thing not being happy about the appointment, another spouting all the ***** there has been on here over recent weeks. I used to think the Sheffield teams were bad but Barnsley fans are now far worse. I'm ashamed at times, thankfully no-one else reads this stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if Shepherd &amp; Cryne just walked away. Why should they deal with all this drivel and negativity? It's juvenile, immature, ignorant oneupmanship (look at me, I'm soooo negative I just wrote a snotty letter to the chairman), trying to outdo each other to be the most negative, the most offensive.</p>

Shepherd is right, the club is being turned round big time from the dark days of bankruptcy. They are making huge strides to turn the ship round but folk soon forget. Pre season we would all have been happy with 4th from bottom, now we are there or thereabouts there's all hell let loose. Most of you wanted Ritchie out, you got that but now you whinge and moan because we didn't get a well known name so you could brag to your mates from Sheffield that we were a big club attracting big names. Same with the players, everyone whingeing that Wolves and Sunderland and Stoke are making big signings and we aren't. Why do you think that is? Are you really that stupid? If we are to surivive and prosper then we need to be clever - shrewd signings, some bargains, some risks but underpinning it all we need a sound financial base so we cannot afford to speculate on big name, overpriced stars so you can have bragging rights down the local.</p>

I'm not over the moon with Davey, I didn't even want Ritchie sacked but overall I am very happy with the state of the club. If we go down, we go down but it won't be for lack of trying by the club, fronted by Shepherd and Cryne. I accept we're still a relatively small club and we're struggling. It won't change overnight either so shut the **** up, support your team and enjoy the ride.</p>

Converting to wav then ripping onto the Zen - not sure if the ripping converts to mp3? Creative Zen is still great, playlists up and running and I plug it into a speaker surround system in my little office and away we go. Top stuff.</p>

I don't think that transferring wav files into your playerwill convert them to MP3, as players tend to support the wav file format anyway.</p>

Wavs are quite large files, for example, your normal mp3 file at say 4mb, is likely to eat up about 25mb in wav format. This could seriously erode your storage capacity if you load a lot on. There are free conversion programmes available that will change wavs to mp3 if you are interested.</p>

I am ripping something like 300 vinyl albums and 700 singles. I use dbconverter, takes about 5 seconds per file. With that volume, the space it saves you, wherever you store them, is phenomenal.</p>
