He's took a bit of flak on here so I hope he gets some credit tonight.

All 3 of Dawson, O'Brien & Shea have took some hammer on here but all did well in particular O'Brien who was up there with Frimpong in the battle for man of the match for me.

Tactically he got it spot on. The only times Millwall threatened us were in the first half from individual errors from our left back but even he improved second half.

It was all about the result today & we've got it. Onwards & upwards.

o'brien had a very good game, and we know he's always capable of it. but as has been said a thousand times - his next three could cost us points. as for dawson and shea, we must watch a different game. dawson - incapable of passing a ball forward, every pass puts us under pressure. break shea - still yet to see what he offers.

hard fought point. cranie and damage class again. jennings getting better every game. invaluable point

Dawson will never be a good passer & I agree he goes backwards too often but he broke up their attacks & started plenty of our own in the 2nd half. Him & Frimpong together in the middle were a big reason they barely had an attack in the 2nd half.

Don't know what's not to like about what Shea did when he came on, apart from one mistimed pass to Hunt I don't think he gave the ball away, played the simple ball & was a threat with his pace even challenged & won a couple of headers which was a bit of a shock

Don't know why you criticise Dawson. I thought he played well and had a positive impact on our performance.

Most played well today, Crainie & Ramage paired up well, and Jim made some intelligent runs and covered all of the pitch. Well deserved MOM.

Was you at Oakwell today. Wilson went all defensive. And Ready Brek is a waste of space. Millwall were attacking us most of second half and we were lucky to come out unscathed. OBrien and Dawson had a good game but why was the big lad taken off for Shea. We lost our attacking force and went 5-4-1 and invited them onto us.

They didn't but I would also wonder how anyone at the game could think Shea improved things when he came on. Didn't do much for me
I did think Dawson made a huge difference to the midfield though

"Millwall were attacking us most of second half"

Really? The closest they came was from a free kick and other than that we kept them at bay. We were much more likely to score the next goal.

Oh he definitely was, I reckon he was the guy sat behind me who slated us the entire match, never referred to Steele as anything other than 'goalie' plus a derogatery comment, and then summed up his day when the whistle went by saying 'it could have easily been 2-2'. Stupid f***ing ****.

They had us on rack quite a few times and could have easily scored but for two good blocks by Steele. Our old defence would have conceded. Give Millwall some credit mate and try not to be blinkered. That is why Mellon thought Cranie and Ramage were outstanding

I've read a few of your posts tonight & I think you're drunk. At no point did we have 5 at the back.

Proschwitz had a bad game, from taking him off & bringing Shea on Millwall barely launched an attack.

We looked more dangerous & also more solid with 5 in midfield.

I don't think Shea individually changed things but we certainly looked more solid with a 5 man midfield & I also thought we looked more likely to score.

Millwall barely launched an attack after the change in formation.

theres a " gentleman " that sits on the front row ESL near the ponty that does that every match - luke steeles bezzy mate by the troll he shouts at him
Dawson was the perfect player for the 2nd half.Shea looks like the type of player that needs plenty of the ball as hes got the pace to really do things in the attacking area.Jimbo will always attract " comments " one way or t`other but the lad never hides and deserved the goal and should have scored a 2nd.Jennings was my MOM : craine close 2nd.Jennings is really finding himself but needs a goal.
My worry is that we cant put teams like this to bed properly and against the teams we have to play unless we catch them on an off day we could get taken apart.

Can't agree with that. Dawson looked like a defensive sub, but was actually the reason they saw so little of the ball in the 2nd half and why we had so much more of the ball going forward. Yes they had a bit of the ball in the last 10 minutes, but we were never really in any trouble and the two big lads at the back did a great job.

O Brien and Dawson were good, but I cannot for the life of me see what Shea brings.

I'd pick 5 players ahead of him. Even if they were on crutches. The fact that Wilson picked Shea, when he had a stomach bug, ahead of those fully fit players, is disappointing to say the least. Shea has done NOTHING in the time he's been here to justify that loyalty.

I like Wilson, but this is his worst mistake in my opinion.
