By eck we have been lucky, three lbws not given. The first one I'd say was the right decision, the other two were wrong.

England vs the Aussies, and the Aussies are well on top. As per sodding usual.

The second one was missing leg stump according to Hawkeye.
But I must agree - watching it live I was head in hands - it looked plum enough for me.

The third should've been out but bat-pad decisions are always difficult for the umpire.

England v Australia for the Ashes - 2nd Innings with Australia leading by 380 ( I think) runs.

It's been a great start though. Brett Lee, very punchable bloke, little wiry weasel. Shane Warne has done a pact with the devil to bowl like that. Truly spectacular to watch. I just wish his fingers would drop off.

    Commentators.

England need to see off Lee and McGrath to get to the 'lesser' bowlers. Gillespie and Warne. Yeah, right. Piss easy.

I'm beginning to wonder whether Brett Lee's mission is to eliminate our batsmen from life ne'er mind the game.

    RE: Commentators.

It's still true though. If England are ever to be in with a shout they have to see off Lee and McGrath and hope it gets just a little bit easier. Thing is 3rd and 4th bowler would be 1st and 2nd in any other team which is why England can never relax. Australia are no.1 in teh world. But, the shine is coming off, Ponting is doubting his fielding decisions. Brett Lee, well .... FFS.

And he's back on. Cue the glares and mouthing off about perfectly timed and controlled inside edges.
