I've read some ***** in my time Omen mate, but that tops it all. Jill Dando was killed by Cliff Richard and Tony Blair to cover up a paedophile ring?

Without putting too much thought in to it, the first obvious hole in that is why would a Labour Prime Minister attempt to cover up a story that primarily affects the Conservative party? I can understand why the Labour party might sit on it and use it at a more opportune moment, when elections come around for instance, or when the popularity of their own party dips, but make it go away entirely? Why? New Labour might have been just as inept as the Conservatives depending on your political point of view, but one thing is for sure, they were desperate to retain power.

The second problem is that Jill Dando was a television presenter not a researcher. She has a background in journalism, but she hadn't done any for a long time and only ever on a local rag. Crime Watch, new programmes and other investigative shows of that nature are very rarely lead by the presenter. Journalists and researchers discover the stories. They take them to the producers who decide whether or not the show will run with them. If so, a team is assigned to it who do the research. A case is put together and a presenter reads that out from a script, when it's ready for air. Sometimes the presenter is part of that research process, but very often not. Very often the presenter is just the public face of a multifaceted organisation.

I don't know to what extent Jill Dando contributed to the research on Crimewatch, but if I was to guess I would say not a lot. Crimewatch wasn't her only employment. She did holiday programmes, antiques programmes, read the news and even presented songs of praise. She was a very good TV presenter and as such in high demand. What she wasn't was a hardened journalist. If she had got a whiff of this story, her asking questions wouldn't have frightened anyone. What would have frightened people was a dedicated team investigating the story, either from the BBC or a national newspaper.

Even if Jill Dando was part of the research team for Crimewatch, even if she was investigating this, she doesn't turn up one day on the set of Crimewatch with the story fully researched and it goes to air with the rest of the production team wondering what the hell is going on. It works nothing like that.

The third problem I have with this article is that it is complete and utter ballacks from start to finish written by a loon.

There is a cover up, a serious one, and the people in power at the time have a lot of questions to answer. It's the kind of story that can bring down a government, but it has nothing to do with Tony Blair and Cliff ******* Richard.

Tony Blair and the Labour party should have problems of their own, much more serious than this nonsense as there should be a public enquiry in to the Iraq war with all the evidence placed on public record.

These are huge stories, far more significant than the ramblings of this joker who is too stupid to realise that his insane ******** isn't nearly as inflammatory as the truth.
