Apparently the violence at Wembley has been covered on Crimewatch this morning. Six photos were put up, one of which may have been the Barnsley fan who retaliated. According to someone on Facebook.
iPlayer - just looking now.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b07gb2ww/crimewatch-roadshow-series-8-episode-3 15'30 in. Footage is nowhere near as clear as the stuff posted last week. Few punches from some blurry individuals, that lovely person throwing the seat and some lass who's forgotten to put her trousers on repeatedly gobbing at the Barnsley fans.
15 minutes in. They show the Barnsley fan knocked backwards over the seats but I don't think he's one of the mug shots.
As predicted they are laying the blame on both sides. No mention of the lack of Police and no mention of the Millwall fans throwing stuff all through the game and walking around the stadium to join in.
I don't think it was apportioning blame either way. Just fairly neutral statements that the game was between Barnsley and Millwall. In terms of an appeal going out to identify fans, I think that's probably as much as they can do at that stage.
I can only assume that they've already identified a fair few. Six photos isn't a lot for the level of violence.
The Met have a gallery on their website. They need help identifying 12 people. http://news.met.police.uk/news/police-appeal-to-identify-football-disorder-suspects-168129 Edit: There only seems to be one photo
