Still feeling pretty gutted after that. Another beer didn't seem to help much, so I've just made and devoured a crisp sarnie! Suddenly I'm eight years old again, brilliant. Except I would guess that when I was eight, the other fillings in the sarnie were nowhere near as sophisticated as smoked ham and goat's cheese. Now, the big question. Do I open that final bottle of Hobgoblin?
Cannot believe such a quality thread has no replies yet. What crisps did you put in the sarnie? I fancy doing the same with the Walkers Sensations Sweet Chilli Chicken i've got lying around........ http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/as..._extra_crunchy_sweet_chilli_chicken_150g.html
The crisps are the Polish version of Pringles, called Chipsletten. Sweet pepper flavour, absolutely delicious, loads nicer than real Pringles. By the way, the smoked ham was Latvian, the goat's cheese Dutch, and the bread was french stick, though made in Russia. All washed down with English beer. A proper international crisp sarnie.
Fosters teacake slices of Lurpak n a packet of Walkers or Golden Wonder cheese n onion. No fancy schmancy other fillings. Bliss ...mmmmm
