I was at the Liverpool game yesterday had a bet on Crouch to score 1st goal at 4/1 (£2) and Liverpool to win 3-0 (£2)9/1. But the fa give it as an own goal cost me a tenner. Liverpool class though and Crouch does so much off the ball so you can see why Benitez picks him ahead of Cisse.
I didnt think own goals were counted? Therefore Crouch would still be down as the first goal scorer. I don't know. (Its just something that was mentioned at half time on sky sports)
The Liverpool fans went absolutely crazy. They love him there. Great atmosphere in the Kop just like the good old days in the Ponty End.
