The more of his "performances" I witness, the more convinced I become that we should have bitten their hands off whether it was a 500k bid or a 50k bid, 'cause the bloke is absolutely fecking awful. I'd rather have Kevin Donovan.

problem is ,he isnt on his own mate, yesterday was the first match that i have voluntarily missed in 32 years of supporting the reds and i have a season ticket, no different to the 2nd half of last season, imo

Agreed. It's harsh to say Done is Donovan standard. Kevin Donovan would be in my first 11 of all time worst Barnsley team.

I too would have snapped Palace's hand off for £500K. I was very surprised we turned it down. I would have been surprised if we turned down anything above £200K. I just don't think he's that good a player.

And his performance yesterday wasn't very good. But he wouldn't have been the first player I singled out for criticism. At least Done looked like he was trying to get in the game. Cywka on the other hand may as well have sat up in the stands with us. He was completely anonymous. It's not the first time either. He's been carried in a number of games by the great work from Perkins and Dawson. The same accusation can be directed at Mellis. Perkins had a poor game yesterday which meant the whole lot fell apart because the likes of Cywka and Mellis don't look capable of stepping up to the plate.

the irony is we didn't sell him because O'Brien and Silva had just got injured. he then got crocked in the next game - sod's law. i'd hazard a guess that if both of those players were fit at the time, we'd have sold him. now Freedman's gone at Palace, i don't reckon they'll come back for him either
