I posted this on Tykes Mad Thought i should share it with you guys. Fill yer boots! I've just placed the maximum bet on Csaba Lazslo to be the next manager. (They would only let me put £30 on, but I'll go again with another account name.) I suggest you do the same. I'm exiled in Edinburgh and my understanding is that Lazslo has already made an approach/been approached. This will be a great coup as the man is highly respected even by rival teams. He took a poor Hearts team to third last season and was awarded SPL manager of the year. No mean feat. He has a reputation for getting his players to punch above their weight and he is also great at bringing the youngsters through. He is seriously p***ed off with the owner Romanov for not allowing him a budget to buy a striker despite promises, and has publicly hinted that he wants away. He now talks about Hearts "not being relegated". Speaks volumes. Keeping Barnsley safe would be well within his capabilities, but in the longer term, he wants to "do a Burnley". Lump on, my friends. Just noticed, he's already down to 14/1 at Victor Chandler. All the same, free money is free money.
No one's been biting to your hints/revelation this morning... everyone's too worried about Tony Adams (not without reason in my opinion). How sure are you of this and when do you think it's going to be announced?
I would love to see Cryne being proactive and go and get his man - not go through a long drawn-out selection process
I have faith in Pat Cryne..........but........... .............he is a business man and a football fan - but hes not a football man.....................so who is giving him advice on this the most important of appointments ??? Why I'm asking is this...............I've never heard of this guy from Hearts, but he sounds like the business. If I haven't heard his name mentioned and know nothing about him, and I would quess that the same applys to most other people on here...........then i wonder if Pat Cryne knows anything about him ???
RE: I have faith in Pat Cryne..........but........... Good post YN.... I would like not just to see a new manager, but also a new football Chairman.... Patrick has done a fantastic Job, he should always be involved in BFC.
This Capitan Wouldn't be someone from Victor Chandlers trying to generate a 'Steamer' would it? Don't bite.
LOL. I don't work for Chandlers. This is just good information. Anyway, I'm pretty sure if a bookie wanted to do something like that, they would use the national press rather than a fans web site. They're not interested in a few £30 bets from everyday punters. Also as soon as the odds fall, no-one is going to back him so they wouldn't restrict the max bet to £30.
Well he's gone from 16/1 to 9/1 in the last hour, so a few are believing this rumour. He looks 'ard an all.................. http://www.football.co.uk/hearts/jambos_must_offer_laszlo_support_rss191372.shtml
Capitan - unfortunately it doesn't look too promising according to Hearts FC website Manager loves life in Edinburgh 30.08.2009 Csaba Laszlo last night admitted he loves life in Edinburgh, as do the Hungarian's family. Not for the first time the Hearts manager revealed his family are hugely settled in the capital, not least eldest daughter Patricia.
I'm not sure what else he could say to a question like that from a local journalist! He may well love Edinburgh, but he hates his job at Hearts and his relationship with the owner is at rock bottom. Despite his love affair with the city, he knows he will have to move on eventually and it's always better to do so on your own terms. He's on his way.
Just been reading the article in The Sun about Adams. There's a comment from someone called Ugandan Hungarian saying "you're way off the mark, look to Edinburgh" Is Capitan also Ugandan Hungarian?
From BBC site Laslo to walk today Heart of Midlothian by hamiltonpark (U3822892) 31 August 2009 comment on the article My friend is hearts daft and is season ticket holder he was told from a close friend of csaba laszlo that he is quiting today pitty he is a decent bloke
UgandanHungarian's profile in the Sun has Lazslo's photo as his avatar, Hearts as his team and 'I play football' as his motto. http://www.thesun.co.uk/mysun/profile/profile/UgandanHungarian
