If you do the turnstiles do you get to watch the second half for free? Not a bad part-time job, that, but I can't see why a 16 year old wouldn't be able to do it. The commission-based self-employed "matchday sales assistant", meanwhile, looks like something I'd advise anybody to go nowhere near. Is it programmes? I'm not even going to talk about the one day per week role for which you'd presumably need to have trained for years. Who do they think they're going to get to do that?
The one day per week role may attract more than you think. There are a number that prefer part time roles because of their particular desired lifestyle. Not everyone wants a rigid 9 to 5 existence.
The women's team are neither professional nor full time. 8 hours will cover all their training and games.
I wonder what legitimate grounds the club has to discriminate based on age regarding the turnstile operators job
No idea but a quick Google shows vacancies at other clubs including Peterborough, Ipswich, Hereford and Bradford Bulls having the same 18+ requirement.
Yeah I saw that but some clubs say 16 plus which makes me wonder what the reason can be to get around the laws
You might be reading more into the word lead than there is. I once new a lad who described himself as Head Draughtsman. He was their firms one and only draughtsman. This might be a similar scenario.
Pay On The Day Turnstile Operator That’s got to be the easiest job since a pit electrician looooooool
Didn't need to jud, I'd solve problems in a 10th of the time others would. . As they say, upstairs for thinking downstairs for dancing lol. . As my mate Doug used to say darnt pit as a sparky. "If I'm sat on mi arse. Jobs running" ask Bazza.
To do with having to challenge ticket holders on their age I'd have thought. I.e. if a 45 year old tries getting in with an OAP ticket and so needs to be refused entry, that's not a situation a minor should deal with.
