Potentially the best team in this division with the performance against Brentford, we should have hammered them. We played well down at Swansea for 15 minutes leading up to half time and 10 mins after half time and could have scored 3 goals. Agree we are not clinical enough but also believ we are creating chances. The only match in my opinion that we DESERVED to lose was Colchester. The remaining games we should have had points. Scunny and Swansea away. Brentford at home was one of the best performances in ages and in Hayes we have a genuine class striker with good movement, touch, vision and a bit of pace. Conlon and Nads in my opinion are not the right partner, I would be inclined to start with Jarman and Hayes. Also Marc Richards, I have an open mind about. Never seen him play so cant comment on his ability, howver he he does sign I hope this lessens the burden on Hayes and allows him to concentrate on scoring.
As for Jacob Burns, fair play to the lad, Im not his greatest fan but credit where credit is due, that also applies to Matt Carbon.

6 games in, it is way too early for the despondancy. Lets see how we do when Kell and Howard are fit and Devaney is fully fit and in tune with his team mates. I for one believe my pre season bet of £10 on the reds for the play offs will be safe.

I hope you're right but I get the feeling that we've still not got the right type of players to get us out of this league. There's not enough backbone so we play nice football 20 mins a game then give it away. 4 losses away already to teams who we should be taking points off tells the story I'm afraid.

agree but we've nearly 40 games to go

Conlon will come in useful in some games. I stick up for him cos i'm one of them who want the under pressure to ram the slagging down their critics throats but i think he should be bench at best. there will be maybe 5 games where his style can win the game. Ugly games etc. remember when qpr came tut well couple of seasons ago, 3-3 and the battled and twatted us that day. we did too but their fight and clogging got them the result

I like Conlon he's an honest toiler but at tendetday a striker is judged on goals scored and goals created and Big Baz falls short on both counts.

    RE: yeah

All the above are true and valid points.

I just think when we have Howard on the left with Shuker/Devaney on right with Kell an A N Other this is a well balanced midfield.

The season is still young lets judge things at the end of September, I for one think we will be in top 6 by then.

a complete lack of backbone throughout the squad
