Shows How Many Need To Be Signed

Hopefully more of Davey's signings will fit in this summer.

Those leaving give a pretty good clue....

as to the types of player who we will try to sign - one more target man striker if Ferenczi finds another club; a further striker when Christensen goes; a running midfielder for Togwell; a holding midfielder for Johnson; a central defender for Reid.

I notice it says that all have been 'made available for transfer,' which is not the same as saying they will leave. I guess it depends on who actually does move on. I have not seen the Nyatanga thread - is it saying that he is not now coming? That would surprise me as he was pants for Derby on Sunday and Jewell is already wielding the axe.

BTW I notice that Forest have had a £2.5 million bid for Earnshaw accepted and he is talking to them - so it does not look as though he is coming. I am not disappointed, as I don't think he ha the same motivation he once had - bit of a goal-hanger anyway. I know he gets them, but, when he's playing, not many others do!

    We'll see what transpires.

You have to say that Davey has, on balance, done well in the transfer market. Just makes you think what could have happened if Odejayi had bagged a dozen and Mossto twenty, which must have been the plan. It is, on the other hand, amazing that we survived, given the goalscoring problem.
