Russell needs to stay too….but only if he signs an extension. Can’t afford him to run down his contract.
Considering the average league one first team squad size is 25 players,, I think we'll still need to move some on before we see any new faces.

We've amassed a large unbalanced squad that for whatever reason doesn't have the core components to get promoted out of this division. If the hint is we're going to bring in a sizeable influx of players, then we have to get rid of an even larger amount of our existing playing squad. I'd be surprised if Connell, Phillips and DKD are still here next year given they are likely to net us the largest fees and two are components of our midfield that seem to be inconsistent and have regressed. Roberts aside, I can't say there are too many I'm fussed about keeping in our squad, so whatever we can get out the door, let it be so.
Given the season connells had and in his own words disappointing I can't see many clubs offering big fees for him. Phillips was good 1st half but really seemed to down tools. Dkd we should get a good fee for and possibly Russell. Some of the players I'd be looking to offload would be mdg for starters but who's going to want q player that's guaranteed to cost you quite alot of points and goals over the season.
