Given that the box office staff have taken a bashing off various folk on here over the last few weeks, I'd like to redress the balance somewhat. I had today off work to get several things done, one of which was renewing my season ticket as well as that of my friend. I decided to try the phone number with a certain sense of trepidation brought about due to various negative posts on here. However, once I'd heard the correct option & pressed the appropriate button, the phone was answered within 1 ring by a woman who was polite, courteous, friendly & willing to have a laugh & a joke with some unknown person on the other end of the line. Full marks to the box office staff in my opinion. Now for the flip side. As one of my errands, I had to call into Greenwoods Menswear in the precinct. If you want to see shoddy, couldn't care less service, go there. There was one shop assistant upstairs who was busying himself with the window display. I found what I needed to buy & caught his attention. He told me he'd be with me "in a bit", obviously whatever he was doing in the window was more important than taking my money. He served me & then answered the phone. Whilst I was stowing my purchase, I gathered from his end of the conversation that someone was wanting to make an appointment to come in for a suit fitting. When the shop assistant learned that the wedding was in October, he advised the potential customer to ring back later & to leave it "at least 2 weeks". Now I don't know how the person on the other end of the line felt, but if that was me, I'd be taking my custom elsewhere. As an aside, something else I needed to buy was Pontefract Cakes. Can you believe that there's nowhere in Town Centre that sells them?
Do they come loose Or are they sold in packets? I really need them in some sort of sealed packaging as they're for export.

Thanks for the link Proably not much good this time around as I need to get things sent by the end of the week. I'm sure there'll be a next time though.
They ship abroad though and will deliver to a different address to the delivery address, deliveries shipped within 48 hours and normally dilivered in less than 7 days (from their site)
They'll "deliver to a different address to the delivery address"! The post office do that as well - my concert tickets were delivered to next door but one!
Err.... the neighbour brought them round! But that could be a good idea....if the postie constantly delivers your mail to the wrong house, simply move to that house!
