This is my first ever post. But anyway here goes.

I cant believe how negative some people are on here. I really hope that the players don't come on this board or have the same attitude as some of you. If they do then we are well and truely ****** for Sunday and the rest of season.

Yes we are in a real dodgy position in the league, but this has been caused by our poor away form and us taking our eye off the ball with this cup run. I am confident we will stop up. Other teams have some difficult fixtures. Especially Southampton and I don't think Coventry are out of it yet either. Also a lot of the bottom 6 or 7 teams are playing each other. This will help to keep the league tight at the bottom and in our favour. For example if Blackpool beat Washday in a couple of weeks that would leave Washday in the ****. Likewise if washday win that leaves Blackpool struggling for points. This scenario is repeated in several fixtures. This will keep the bottom of the league a tight pack and make it much easier to pull out off with a couple of results. Southampton are in a much worse position than we are.
Of course relegation would completely over shadow anything we achieve in the cup. But it wont happen. Whatever the result Sunday we can then concentrate on the league till the end of season. The final is two weeks after our season ends. Not like this semi that is sat smack in the middle of a fixture pile up. After Sunday it can be put to one side.

You wouldn't believe we were in a FA cup semi final reading some of the negative and stupid stuff some clowns post on here. I also cant belive people would rather us lose Sunday and then hope and believe we can get on with our league battle. Am sure the positive feeling from booking an FA cup final appearance would transfer to our league form and see us through safely.

Some people need to cut the negative **** out.

Losing Da Silva was a massive blow. Despite our recent form and position our squad is miles better than last season. Under Andy Ritchie we were going down and there’s no doubt about it. Davey kept us up and is slowly but surely learning and building a team. Do you really think we would be in an F.A. Cup semi final with the team we started last season with? We wouldn't even be in the Championship. I know not all Daveys signings have been good but most of them have, and when he gets a signing right its a gem.

Sunday for some people is a day out. For others its a huge match and something very special which will probably never happen again. It will be a really fantastic day but only if we win! We lost there before. Please don't let it happen again!

A very well constructed post. However, you seem to be confusing 'negativity' with 'being realistic'. In other words, you are taking the 'positive' -and popular - moral high ground.

People have a right to be concerned - and express their concerns on here - over our current league position.

The 'If our away form had been better' BS doesn't wash with me. It's equally valid to say - but doesn't get said - that if our home form had been worse we would be down now. We have to get on with the results we have had, both home and away, not speculate one way or the other where we might have been if such and such had happened.
