Depends how you define the best. They will plenty of stages in the Grand Tours and Cavendish will probably win a points jersey again but I doubt they will win a Grand Tour.
depends on best at what-I think they are geared up for the Tour de France as the main aim but they should have a good chance at some of the early season 1 day classics-the Olympics messes things up a bit mind you-they have never been a big goal for cyclists but because it's in London Team GB-which is mainly Team Sky- have to make an effort
Difficult question- as Paul.d says best at what? It really depends on what the Sky Teams targets are. They are an advert for Sky and will race where they can get maximum exposure for the Sky brand. The team will work for Cav in some races ie Olympics, La Tour, and will have other lead riders in others races.
I'm not really a cycling fan. I was surprised at how many riders they have. It should you them on side on team coach. That was before MC joined them.
Teams are a lot bigger than the number of riders who are allowed to ride in a stage race which could be 5-9 depending on the race. I'm not sure if there is a limit to the size of the team but seem to remember teams of 20 plus.
I think Team Sky have 28 riders contracted to them. Plus a management team of about another 10 plus masseurs , chefs, mechanics drivers etc. Well over 100 all told.
Blimey Is Charlotte one of the masseurs?? <img src ="http://www.brobible.com/files/images/buzz/Charlotte_Jackson_Nuts.jpg">
