    I am sensing another Vaz Te scenario. Clubs will realise they should have taken a punt on him then come 31st January will lose him for what less than Palace offered for Done.

    Aye, l'm sure that 5/6 games into the season the club know that he's at least a decent squad player and offer him the extra year while the vultures arent circling, at least then we'll get a decent fee if he does turn out to be great player for us.

    I believe the club will offer him a new contract around Oct/Nov if he continues to impress. Whether he'll accept is another matter.
