    An arbitrary committee will moderate some subjective assessments in order decide whether or not I (or some other unlucky soul) still have a job or not.</p>

    I have a raw 62% chance of a good (for me) outcome but I reckon more like a 40% chance since though good at my job yet I am not fully qualified.</p>

    They'll let me know on Friday if I can continue to support my family in the short term.</p>

    I hope it works out for you. Take some comfort in the fact that I haven't known a single person made redundant who hasn't gone onto better things and on reflection think it was a good thing in their career. It may be shitty in the short term, but hopefully good will come of it, if it happens.

    Obviously, there will be plenty that don't agree, but that's my experience.
