What is his position ? Serioulsy. Cos if he's an 'out and out' centre forward then I'm a Harlem Globetrotter.

Calm down David, I'm not slagging him, just saying he's not a front man.

Link twixt midfield and front 2 ? perhaps ?

    No...

cos so far I've not seen the natural flair that that role would need. Centre half or defensive midfielder for me

Did Shipperley have that "natural flair" that a centre forward requires????? I think not!

Christ, so you're right but Joe Royle, Paul Hart, Andy Ritchie and David Hodgson are all buffoons.

Bazza's okay at bringing other people into play, but he ain't a natural predator, he isn't the world's greatest at holding the ball up, and for his size he isn't the battering ram you'd expect.

However, for a big man he does have a half-decent touch when he manages to bring the ball under control first time.

Is that good enough? Not really.

Whats the big lad called that plays/played for Luton upfront last season. Howard?

Hes no better than Conlan, and he was a main part of Luton's promotion, he was just some big lad, no real pace, scored plenty of goals, and a smashing target man.

Difference between Conlans season and Howards, was that Luton stuck by Howard, and he stayed injury free.

You are kidding? Howard's a goalscorer, targetman and battering ram - the perfect lower-division forward.

He's five-times the player Conlon is.

1.76 better than a Notts County centre forward who swam with a dolphin that chinned some tuna.
