According to Twitter, he's a few people's new favourite player... Me and Keef can't half spot a laiker.
The kid's a trier but still ain't gd enough! Fact. When the fit players are back will take his rightful place on the bench. Should've buried that chance in the first minute.
Can't agree with that. It was a total myth that Gray worked hard. Stood around hiding behind centre halves for the most part.
His work rate is phenomenal and his movement was very good yesterday. He should have scored early on but it was an excellent save by Gilks, and he was only denied a little later by a great last ditch tackle. He made a great run for Davies' goal, pulling the centre half away and providing an option in the middle. In the second half he was very unlucky not to score from the rebound from Davies shot. He actually followed up too well! If he'd been caught on the back foot he'd have had a tap in. He faded second half but had nack all service after the break when Blackpool started to control the game. If he keeps making runs like yesterday and Mellis continues to look like an able replacement for Butterfield then he could have a good season.
Agree. Written off when coming into a side that was awful. Now in front of midfielders who can pass the ball forward and he'll be reight. Player of the Year.
12 league games no goals He's getting better and he's definitely putting the effort in, but put the tissues away, he's not setting the place on fire.
Each time I see Daggers this season he gets better, his work rate is top notch and movement up front is what we have been missing. When others are fit I can't see how Keef can drop him. Don't know why people are still slating him, he looks a completly different player to last season. Get behind the lad.
I agree Jay, but he does look capable of scoring this season, and he was clinical against Rochdale. I also think it was his work rate yesterday which allowed us to have 2 up top. If he hadn't harried their defence so much I think we would have been quite exposed.
He's made an excellent start to the season And well worth his place in the starting line up. Similarly, Scott Golbourne is showing exactly why Keith Hill brought him to the club. Dawson's form is way above the level of last season, whilst not yet reaching the heights of the first two lads. These examples, along with O'Brien last season, show why patience ought to be shown with new players. Not everyone can hit the ground running when first signing for a club.
