To be fair I felt like that with the likes of perkins and other so called lower league players at the start of the season...and I got that wrong so let's give the lad a chance

if Dagnall has the same work ethic, willigness to improve and skill then i'd have him over Danny Haynes any day.

Haynes had the skill and potential but neither the work rate, desire or attitude to do it

Scored 51 in 135 games for rochdale - not a bad strike record to be fair

Not very good for Scunny though when he moved up a league

Don't worry, I'm not judging him yet, I hope he does really well for us, but we can't just pick and choose which stats to look at.

It was a very poor Iron side too to be fair. Their site says he's 5ft 8, that suggest he's a bit nippy? Not seen the lad. Give him time to settle and we'll see in time if there's an asset worth developing!

Having seen him a handful of times in the flesh, and going on Scunny fans' opinions, I am more than happy with the signing.
Keith knows all about him, and he works his arse off up top - sumat we lack at times.
Scored a brace at Bumhole Lame so already level with Haynes in my adoration.
But hey, be underwhelmed, doubt the lad, doubt Keith.
I will continue to have faith...
    You Reds

He was rumoured to be going to Bradford City for £75k earlier in the week.

A signing I thought we'd have done by now

Really liked him when he was at Rochdale, looked a decent laiker at Scunny, reckon Keith will get the best out of him. You can't really write off any of Keith's signings.

10 of his goals here in Rochdale's best goals of 2009 / 10

First 5 in first 2 minutes, then 5 more after 3 mins 50 secs.

    Seconded

Hopefully he'll be as successful as the rest of Hill's signings from the lower leagues.

Can he play in the afternoons and evenings as well?

If not, can't see why we've signed him.
